"Over 2 years ago while joining some friends for a drink in the Derby Tavern in Suwannee, Georgia, we happened on a guitar player that was astoundingly accurate with his music and renditions of some of the greats like Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Beck. The young man was unassuming and polite as we talked about his music and possible availability to play at one of our events being held in a few weeks. In need of a band for Legion Bike Night-we hired Jamie Campbell on the spot.
When the venue night came he showed up with band in tow-and setup early to get the feel for his sound out in the open air-aftr the tests were complete his band rocked us into the night with some amazing work from Beck, Vaughn, Clapton, Edgar Winter, and yes even capping the night off with some Skynard. I remember one of our guests at Bike Night looking at me and saying "this brother is for real!" I just smiled because I knew I had found a young talent who embraces his gift for music, and his guitar.
Since then I've hired him again and have recommended him to several of the business folks I've run into on my travels. Recently I worked with Jamie directly on the design of his new cover for Voodoo Lake, a compilation of creative work-all his own. On a recent live performance I got the opportunity to listen to the title cut live-and even though the full band had not played the song together-they rocked it out with divine mastery like proven pros... The music, tune, and work is amazing!
This young man has some wicked talent, the guitar is just an extension that exudes amazing sound-truly an amazing artist and now friend! If you get the opportunity to run into him and his band-check them out-you will not go away disappointed!"Derek Dugan-(Director, Marketing & Promotions Full Throttle Magazine USAHome/ Office -770.614.7035/ Mobile 770.503.6366
